How to fix Outlook 2010 search not working problem

It is a very common outlook 2010 problem when you have upgraded from Office 2007 to Office 2010 with Windows 7 operating system. You will notices that your email search is not working and you find no result when you search for any email address or looking for name of an email sender.

The main problem that seems to occur after upgrading from 2007 to outlook 2010 is that windows indexing service gets turned off. This probably occurs during the upgrade process for good reason, but the installation script does not turn it back on. It appears that the DLL file mssphtb.dll which was used for Windows Search Email Indexer in previous versions of Office, does not work…or is simply unnecessary for Outlook 2010. I can’t find the straight answer to fix this Microsoft outlook problem, but I guess that the given solution will definitely help you.
