Step 1: Start from open Microsoft outlook 2010 and select ‘File’ tab.
Step 2: Now select ‘add account’ under the ‘account information’ and select the ‘manually configure server settings’ option.
Step 3: Press ‘next’ button after click ‘Internet Email’. Now enter your name, AOL email address & its password and select ‘POP3’ from drop down menu of ‘account type’.
Step 4: Now again enter your AOL email & password under ‘Logon Information’ and check the ‘Remember Password’ checkbox.
Step 5: Now select ‘more settings->Outgoing Server’ and check the ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ checkbox.
Step 6: Now open the ‘advanced’ tab and type ‘587’ in the “Outgoing Server (SMTP)” textbox.
Step 7: Now click on ‘OK’ button and then click on ‘finish’ button to apply changes.
Now Microsoft outlook automatically fetching your mails from your AOL account.
