The Auto-Complete list is a feature that display suggestions for emails and name as you start to type them. These suggestions are possible matches from a list of names and email addresses from the email messages that you have sent.
If you are sending a email and you type the name or email in the ‘To’,’Cc’ and ‘Bcc’ boxes, you will find relevant address as type words. But you are not finding auto generated list, so there is a issue with your Microsoft outlook 2010.
To correct this Microsoft outlook problem, you simply follow given steps and back on again
First prepare Microsoft outlook to run without cached exchange mode –
Step 1: Click on ‘File’ menu and go to ‘File->Account Settings’, now select Microsoft exchange server account and click on ‘change’.
Step 2: Now clear the ‘Use Cached Exchange Mode’ check box and click on ‘Next’ button, and then click on ‘Finish’.
Step 3: Now close the ‘Account Settings’ dialogue box and exit outlook.
Step 4: Now go to ‘start->search’ and find & open ‘%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Outlook‘ folder.
Step 5: Rename folder ‘RoamCache‘ to ‘old_RoamCache‘ & start outlook again.
Now turn on cached exchange mode –
Go to File->Account Settings->, now click your Microsoft exchange server account, and then click on ‘Change’.
Now check the ‘Use Cached Exchange Mode‘ checkbox and click on ‘Next’ then click on ‘Finish’. And close the ‘Account Settings’ dialogue box.
Step 6: Now exit from Microsoft outlook and restart once again and check that auto-complete is working or not.
I think that has solved the auto-complete issue.
