So I am discussing here how to configure your yahoo mail account on Microsoft outlook so that you can access your mail when you are offline or you you’re not in network. Microsoft outlook support its superior features to many email domain which can be configure on it and automatically mails can be stored in outlook account.

Step1: First open the “Microsoft Outlook” and navigate to “Account settings” from “Tools” menu.
Step2: “Account Settings Window” will be open. Now click on “New” button from “Email” tab.
Step3: “Add New E-mail Account” window will be open. Now click on “Manually configure server settings or additional server types” and click on “Next” button.
Step4: Now a new window “Add a new email account” will be open, Click on “Internet E-Mail” radio button and click on “Next“.
Step5: Now you come in the main part of configuration. Here fill all fields like your name, email. In the “Account Type” drop down, select “POP3” for incoming server & outgoing mail server. Now enter “plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com” (no comma) in both server field and below on this provide your yahoo mail address and password and click on “Remember Password”.
Step6: Now click on “More Settings” button on the left bottom side of this window and navigate to “Outgoing Server” tab and select “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” checkbox.
Step7: Now select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” radio button and check that “Require Secure Password Authentication (SPA)” is unchecked.
Step8: Now click on “Advance” tab and change the Incoming server (POP3) to 995 & click on “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)“. Now change the “Outgoing server (SMTP)” to 465 and click on ‘SSL‘ from the drop down list. Now click on “OK“.
Now Microsoft outlook automatically fetching your mails from your yahoo account.
