Step 3: Now go to ‘Edit->New->DWORD Value’ and type ‘DefConnectOpts‘ and hit ‘Enter’ key.

Step 4: Right-click ‘DefConnectOpts’ and click ‘Modify’. Type ‘0‘ in the ‘Value data‘ box and click ‘OK’.

Step 5: Now Exit registry editor and restart your computer.

    I stumbled upon this while searching on sync problem with my outlook 2010. I checked for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\RPC but I dont have RPC subkey at all. any clue what I should do?
